NSW:Teen dies in fall from wheelchair in van
SYDNEY, Dec 28 AAP - A NSW teenager has died after falling from his wheelchair when
the van in which he was travelling braked suddenly.
The wheelchair-bound 16-year-old died in hospital after the accident, which occurred
in Wagga Wagga on Christmas Day, police say.
The teenager's death takes the state's holiday road toll to 10.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
(The national road toll period runs from 0001 December 23, 2011 until 2359 January
3, 2012, local times, in line with the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Board.)
