Tramya McCray is two years old, with pigtails framing a face that is destined to break a thousand hearts.
Last Friday, she had to spend most of the afternoon away from her pals at child-care while she attended ceremonies at Hefferan Elementary School's library.
She squirmed now and then in Denise Pierce's lap and gazed curiously around at shelves of books and dozens of grown ups who must have looked unfriendly to Tramya because of their serious faces.
Tramya's mom, Nicole Rainey, was one of the 21 victims of the E2 disaster Feb. 17. Denise Pierce is Nicole Rainey's cousin, and now she's Tramya's caretaker.
